The variety is an old landrace. Indeterminate plants reach a height of 1.8–2 meters and require mandatory side-shoot removal and staking. The variety is suitable for cultivation in both open fields in sunny locations and in greenhouses.

Fruits have a pear-shaped 'pouch' form with pronounced ribbing; their weight varies from 120–150 g up to 450 g, sometimes reaching 1 kg. The flesh is dense, fleshy, and contains few seeds. The vegetation period is 95–100 days. The variety is characterized as resistant to major tomato diseases.

Fruits are primarily for salad use, suitable for fresh consumption and the preparation of sauces. A specific feature is the color change: fruits can reach their peak flavor when the shoulders remain slightly greenish-yellow.
