Lycomech F1 is a tomato hybrid with a growing period of about 105 days. The plant is of a determinate type; the fruits have a square or round shape. The sugar content (Brix) is 5.3–5.4°, the fruits are distinguished by intense color and a high level of lycopene in the range of 280–300 mg/kg.

The hybrid possesses resistance to over-ripening on the vine due to the EFS gene. The jointless pedicel facilitates the machine harvesting process. The variety has complex resistance to diseases, including Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt, nematodes, and bacterial spot.

The purpose of the hybrid is industrial processing, in particular the production of juices and tomato paste, where improvement of the finished product color is required due to high lycopene content.
