The fruits of this variety are large, round, and fleshy, distinguished by a sweet taste and the presence of thick walls with a small number of seeds. Plants are characterized by good yield and a relatively small leaf area.
The variety possesses genetic resistance to a number of diseases, including Fusarium wilt, Alternaria, and nematodes. Due to these properties, it was used in commercial greenhouse production as an alternative to more susceptible varieties, and was also actively used in laboratory experiments on morphogenesis and genetic transformation.
