The variety is one of the most miniature tomatoes in the world, reaching a height of 8 to 30 cm. The plant is characterized by a bushy growth habit, does not require staking or supports, and possesses a stable dwarf habit due to genetic mutations in the SELF-PRUNING and DWARF genes.
This is an early-maturing variety with a ripening period of 70–100 days. The fruits are small, weighing from 2 to 10 grams, and have a red color and a round shape. The variety is a population, not a hybrid, which allows for the collection of seeds for subsequent sowing.
The variety is sensitive to high humidity and is susceptible to fungal diseases when grown in adverse conditions. Due to its short life cycle and ease of genetic transformation, it is widely used in physiological and genetic experiments.
