Variety description

10 August 2026

The Mint Julep variety, formerly known as Michael Pollan, is an indeterminate plant. The fruit ripening period is about 75 days. The origin of the variety is linked to a natural mutation of the Green Zebra tomato variety.

The fruits have an unusual pear shape with a distinct point. The skin color is light green (chartreuse) with bright yellow stripes. The weight of a single fruit varies from 55 to 110 grams.

The taste qualities are described as sweet, sometimes with spicy notes or a slight acidity. The variety is intended primarily for fresh consumption, use in salads and appetizers.
