The variety is indeterminate, vigorous, reaches 1.5–2.0 meters in height, and requires staking and pruning to 1–2 stems. The period from germination to fruit ripening is 85–115 days.
Fruits are oblate in shape, often with moderate ribbing, weighing from 200–400 g to 800–1000 g. Depending on the variety, the color ranges from pink-purple to red. The flesh is multi-chambered, sweet, with low acidity and a small amount of seeds.
The plant is adapted to cool and humid climates, and is resistant to fruit cracking and sudden temperature changes. The fruits are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for processing into juices and sauces.
