The variety is intended for use as a rootstock for tomato grafting. It possesses a root system genotype that provides high resistance to abiotic stresses, in particular to soil salinity. Grafting onto this rootstock restricts the transport of sodium and chlorine ions to the aerial part of the plant, which allows for the maintenance of yield under saline conditions.

The use of this rootstock has a positive effect on the fruit quality of the scion, contributing to an increase in soluble solids content and titratable acidity. The variety is mentioned in integrated pest management manuals as having protective properties against soil stress factors; however, detailed characteristics of the plant's own fruits are absent due to its intended purpose.
