The hybrid tomato variety Rappolo belongs to the round type (Tondo). Fruits are characterized by a weight of 180–190 g.

The plant possesses high resistance (HR) to tomato mosaic virus, verticillium wilt and fusarium wilt (races 0-1-2). Intermediate resistance (IR) to fusarium crown and root rot, tomato yellow leaf curl virus and tomato spotted wilt virus is also noted.
