The name Robusta F1 in the context of tomatoes does not refer to varieties for the consumer market. It is used exclusively in scientific activities as a rootstock for grafting tomatoes to evaluate the effect on the development and fruit quality of scion varieties.

In agricultural literature, the name is often found when describing other crops, such as coffee Coffea canephora, or in botanical descriptions of plant pathogens. As an independent consumer tomato variety, this hybrid is not represented in open sources.
