Mar Saba F1 is a mid-early hybrid with a ripening period of 95–100 days from emergence. The plant is of the indeterminate type, reaching a height of 180–200 cm, possessing a generative growth habit with elongated internodes and moderate side-shoot formation.
The San Marzano type fruits have a cylindrical shape and a chocolate-brown color. The weight of each fruit is 80–100 g; the flesh is firm, and the skin is resistant to cracking. The tomatoes are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and sun-drying, and possess good keeping quality and a sweet, slightly tangy taste.
The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in protected and open ground. The plant is characterized by high resistance to major tomato diseases, including leaf mold, and is not susceptible to blossom-end rot. Yield is over 20 kg per 1 m².
