The Solena F1 variety is an indeterminate plant with regular leaves and medium vigor, reaching a height of over 2 meters in greenhouses. The fruits have a round, slightly ribbed shape, red color, 4–5 locules, and an average weight of 70–90 g. Features of the variety include no tendency to crack and no green spot at the stem end. The plants are resistant to tomato mosaic virus, three races of Cladosporium, and one race of Fusarium.
The variety is recommended for cultivation under plastic covers and in greenhouses in spring and autumn cycles, with pruning to 1–2 stems. There are also other breeding lines under the name Solena, which are cocktail tomatoes (for example, Solena Yellow or Solena Choco). These are tall plants reaching 2.5 m, forming fruits weighing 15–20 g, which are suitable for cultivation in the open field and in containers.
