Supernova F1 is an ultra-early hybrid with a ripening period of 57–60 days from transplanting. The plant is of the determinate type, medium-vigorous and compact, with good foliage that protects the fruits from sunburn.

The fruits have a round shape, often with a characteristic 'nose', a bright red color, and a multi-chambered fleshy structure. The average weight of one fruit is 220–300 g. The tomatoes have high transportability and keeping quality, and are intended for cultivation in open field and protected cultivation.

The hybrid has high resistance (HR) to tomato mosaic virus, Fusarium wilt (races 0, 1, 2) and Verticillium wilt. Intermediate resistance (IR) to tomato spotted wilt virus is also noted.
