The Upper F1 hybrid is an indeterminate plant with an early maturity period. The fruits have a round shape, a deep red color, and a weight of about 160 g. The plant has medium to medium-strong growth vigor; the recommended planting density is 20,000 plants per hectare.
The fruits have good keeping quality of up to 10 days, which allows for long-distance transportation, and are intended for the fresh market. The potential yield of the hybrid reaches 140–150 tonnes per hectare.
The hybrid possesses high resistance (HR) to Tomato mosaic virus, Fusarium wilt, Fusarium crown and root rot, Verticillium wilt, and Cladosporium leaf mold. Intermediate resistance (IR) is also noted for Tomato yellow leaf curl virus and Tomato spotted wilt virus.
