The «Winner» variety (from the Sativa seed company) is a plant that requires staking. The fruits are red, medium-sized with a diameter of 6–7 cm and a weight of about 80 g, and have thin skin. The variety is nutrient-demanding and suitable for cultivation in open field or protected cultivation.

The name «Winner» is also found within the names of collector varieties, such as the large-fruited «Red Dumplin’ Winner Pink» with fruits up to 300 g or «Australian Giant Winner» with pink fruits weighing up to 600 g or more. The name is often used as a suffix for hybrids that have won the All-America Selections competition.
