The Yassamen hybrid, also known as Yassamen TH 99802, is an industrial variety. Its inclusion in international agronomic programs was aimed at the development of vegetable growing in West African regions.

In scientific literature describing trials of this hybrid, the primary characteristic of the variety is cited as its resistance to Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCD). Specific morphological parameters of the fruits and the bush are absent in open sources.
