This hybrid was obtained as a result of interspecific crossing of Solanum lycopersicum and Solanum habrochaites. Its main objective is to create a powerful root system capable of effectively supporting the development of the grafted plant.

The rootstock possesses high resistance to soil-borne pathogens, in particular to root neck rot. The use of this rootstock contributes to better survival and maintenance of the metabolic activity of grafted plants in conditions of soil salinity.
