The variety is a traditional Croatian cultivar line. The plant is characterized by a semi-determinate growth type and belongs to the early-maturing tomato group.

The fruits are round in shape, characterized by a fleshy structure and an average weight of about 130 grams. The variety belongs to the "jabučar" type and is valued for its good adaptability to local growing conditions, although it is inferior to modern hybrids in terms of yield stability and disease resistance.

It is intended for fresh consumption, although historically it was considered as a raw material for industrial processing. Currently, it is more often used in private and organic farms.
