Anafor F1 is used exclusively as rootstock material. Open sources do not contain characteristics typical of consumer varieties: fruit description, maturity dates, or morphological features of the aerial part of the plant.
The use of this hybrid as a rootstock is aimed at strengthening the protection of grafted plants against soil-borne pathogens, such as Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. melongenae. The variety is registered under the code ABR194.
