The variety was obtained by crossing the Violette de Barbentane and Kanto Ao varieties. The plant forms a vigorous bush 100–120 cm in height.
The fruits have a cylindrical shape with a length of 15–20 cm and a weight of 200 to 600 g. The flesh is dense, fine-grained, with a mild taste. The variety is hardy, resistant to the main diseases of the crop, and adapted to cool regions.
