The plant is vigorous, rustic, with good field holding ability. It belongs to the Palermo or "black calyx" eggplant type. The variety has a medium maturity cycle and is suitable for cultivation in both greenhouses and open field.
The fruits have a slightly elongated, square shape and dark purple color. They are characterized by a short calyx and a size of 12–13 cm. The flesh is firm, with a small number of seeds.
