The plant belongs to the Solanaceae family. The height of the compact bush is 10–20 cm. The lanceolate leaves with wavy edges have a dark green color and are 5–7.5 cm long.
The fruits are spherical berries 2–2.5 cm in diameter, changing color from orange to orange-red. The plant is used as a pot crop, is light-loving, prefers open sun, but requires protection from excessive heat.
