The variety has round or short-oval tubers with yellow skin and white flesh. At harvest, tubers easily detach from the haulm; the variety is characterized by a low percentage of small fractions and high resistance to mechanical damage.
The plant possesses high resistance to viral and storage diseases, late blight of haulm, and brown leaf spot. The variety is resistant to potato cyst nematode pathotype Ro1.
Cultivation requires well-fertilized soils with the application of magnesium. Early planting of slightly sprouted seed material is recommended. The variety was obtained by crossing Amylex and Calgary.
