The variety belongs to the late-maturing group. Tubers have an oval shape. The variety is intended primarily for industrial processing, including the production of peeled potatoes and French fries.
A distinctive characteristic is a high level of resistance to potato cyst nematode, which allows the variety to be used in infested areas. The variety was obtained by crossing the Ramos and CMK 1997-007-004 lines.
