Variety description

The plant forms a dense, vertically oriented bush. The foliage has a distinctive steel-blue coloration, which changes to warm tones in the autumn period. The inflorescences in the form of purple panicles with yellow stamens rise above the main mass of leaves.
The variety is drought-tolerant, prefers sunny locations and well-drained soils. On excessively fertile areas, it may lodge, therefore it is recommended to avoid excessive fertilization. Flowering occurs in the period from late summer to autumn.
It is used in landscape design for creating prairie gardens and styling flower beds, used as a specimen plant or in group plantings, and is suitable for cutting.
