The variety is the result of breeding work aimed at obtaining viable grain in northern latitudes. The plant is characterized by the formation of large and heavy panicles.

The grain of the variety has a white color and low tannin content. When nitrogen fertilizers are applied at a rate higher than 70 kg N/ha, the risk of lodging increases due to the weight of the panicle. Under favorable conditions, the variety is capable of providing a yield of up to 18 tons of dry matter per hectare.
