The hybrid is an early-maturing plant that is slightly taller than the Reliance variety. The grain is characterized by good test weight and a pronounced bright rusty color.

During agronomic research, the variety demonstrated sensitivity to high doses of atrazine and the combination of propachlor and 2,4-D herbicides, while showing tolerance to standard rates of most other herbicides.
