The variety «Sokhatyi» belongs to sweet sorghum. The primary direction of use for the crop is energy-related, involving the processing of plant raw materials into bioethanol, as well as fodder use in the form of silage or green fodder.

Studies of the variety's productivity indicate the possibility of obtaining a high biomass yield under specific agrotechnical conditions. In agronomic practice, a seeding rate of 100 to 150 thousand units per hectare is recommended to optimize the productivity of this variety.
