The hybrid is a forage crop used for feeding dairy cattle, calves, and horses. It is characterized by medium-sized stems, which distinguishes it from both thin-stemmed Sudan grass hybrids and thick-stemmed sweet varieties.

The plant has a very high germination rate and is capable of successfully growing on poor acidic soils, showing better results than corn. The crop is drought-resistant and safe in terms of the risk of hydrocyanic acid accumulation, while the variety is classified as an intermediate flowering hybrid.
