The hybrid is a forage plant used for livestock grazing, silage or haylage preparation, or as green fodder. The plants reach a height of 2 to 3.5 meters. Thick, succulent stalks retain their palatability even at full maturity.

The sugar content in the stalk juice is 16–18% on the Brix scale, and the crude protein content varies from 12% to 18%. The hybrid possesses high digestibility and resistance to diseases.

The plant has a good regrowth capacity after mowing, which allows for multiple cuts per season. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation both under irrigation and without it.
