The hybrid is intended for forage use for hay, green fodder, or grazing. The plant is characterized by a high dry matter yield compared to other sudangrass varieties.

This hybrid is capable of accumulating cyanogenic glycosides, which requires caution when grazing livestock during periods of stress, such as drought or frost. The crop is sensitive to iron deficiency in the soil, during which plants may develop leaf chlorosis.
