The Arigato hybrid belongs to the BMR (brown midrib) type, which ensures high digestibility and feed quality for animals. The variety is intended for silage production ("monocrop" type) and is considered an alternative to silage corn under changing climate conditions.
The plant possesses good initial growth vigor, which promotes rapid canopy closure. It is characterized by lodging resistance and high tolerance to pest damage, specifically to the western corn rootworm (Diabrotica).
