The variety is classified as a grain and forage hybrid. The grain is used as an energy component in compound feeds for poultry, pigs, and ruminants, serving as an alternative to maize due to its crude protein content.

The hybrid is mid-early and possesses a marked ability to withstand arid conditions. In field trials, the average grain yield of dry matter was recorded at 6.8 t/ha with potential for increase under favorable agro-climatic conditions.
