The hybrid is a commercial grain sorghum variety intended for intensive farming. Based on field trial results, the plant demonstrates a higher harvest index compared to a number of other hybrids.

In scientific research, the variety is used to evaluate sensitivity to infection by pathogens of the genus Fusarium, in particular to the development of stem necrosis.
