The variety is early-maturing, with a growing season from emergence to ripening of 98–105 days. On non-irrigated lands, grain yield varies between 3.1–4.6 t/ha, and grain moisture at harvest is 20–22%.

The plant possesses pronounced heat and drought tolerance and is weakly affected by cereal aphids. The variety is used in breeding programs as a parental component for creating hybrids.
