KWS Hannibal belongs to tall-growing sorghum hybrids. Studies confirm a direct correlation between the plant height of this hybrid and biomass yield.

The hybrid demonstrates high productivity in various soil and climatic conditions and is capable of maintaining yield stability under limited precipitation. In field trials in Central Europe, dry mass yield indicators reached 20.16 t/ha.

The plant is used as an energy crop for biogas production and for fodder purposes. In publications, the emphasis is shifted to the production indicators of the hybrid, while detailed data on the maturity group and panicle morphology are not provided.
