The plant is a C4 type with efficient photosynthesis. Studies confirm the presence of allelopathic activity, manifested by the release of sorgoleone by the roots, the content of which is elevated in 15-day-old seedlings.
The hybrid is intended for use in crop rotation, biomass production for biogas plants, and as a grain crop.
