The hybrid belongs to the late-maturing group; the period from emergence to seed maturity is 126–132 days, in some cases reaching 154 days. Plants are characterized by a very tall stem from 275 to 420 cm and a base thickness of 2.8–3.2 cm. 16–18 wide leaves are formed on the main stem; the stem pith is juicy.
Sugar content in the stem juice varies from 13.5% to 16%, reaching 22% under favorable conditions. Biomass productivity potential exceeds 80–98 t/ha. The hybrid is characterized by high adaptability to soil and climatic conditions and is suitable for cultivation using technologies similar to corn for silage.
