The variety is intended for the production of panicles used in the manufacture of brooms, and may also be used for forage purposes. One of the morphological features of the variety is the great length of the panicle, which is the largest among the compared samples.

Under non-irrigated conditions, the yield of panicles without grain is 3.3 t/ha, and the grain yield reaches 2.9 t/ha.
