The plant belongs to short-stature varieties, reaching a height of 110–120 cm. The grain has a light-pink color, a white vitreous endosperm, and a thousand kernel weight of 21–26 g. The grain composition includes about 11–14% protein, 72.3% starch, 4.2% fat, as well as lysine and a complex of mineral substances.

The variety is drought-tolerant and resistant to lodging and shattering. The level of susceptibility to loose smut is 5.8%, and to covered smut is 3.7%. Under production conditions, the yield varies from 3.5 to 4.8 t/ha, and in favorable experimental conditions, it reaches 6.4 t/ha. The variety is responsive to irrigation and high agricultural background.
