The plant's leaf blade is dark green in color; the degree of leaf blistering varies from weak to medium. There is a complete absence of red coloration on the stems, petioles, and veins.

The variety belongs to the monoecious flowering type. It exhibits resistance to spinach downy mildew (Peronospora farinosa f. sp. spinaciae), including races Pfs 5–7. The time to the onset of bolting is rated as medium.
