The variety forms semi-erect plants with very large, thick leaves of medium-dark green color. The crop is intended for autumn sowing.

The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races 1–15, 17, 20) and good resistance to bolting, although in individual cases rapid flowering is possible. The variety is characterized by good keeping quality during storage.
