The Indures variety is a commercial F1 hybrid belonging to the smooth-leaf spinach group. The plant's leaves have a rounded shape, an intense green color, and are characterized by significant thickness and slight blistering.
The plant possesses genetic resistance to four races of downy mildew (Peronospora). The variety is suitable for cultivation in protected ground and has repeatedly been the subject of scientific research, particularly in the study of salt tolerance and ion accumulation in leaf vacuoles.
