The Spinoza variety is an object of agronomic publications and breeding works. It contains resistance genes to downy mildew, in particular M1M2 genes. The plant exhibits sensitivity to day length and temperature, showing a tendency toward premature bolting during spring sowing.

In comparative trials, the variety shows signs of early maturity depending on growing conditions. Spinoza more often acts as a reference sample when studying the effect of fertilizers, sowing dates, and nutrient composition, not being a mass commercial hybrid.
