The variety is the world's first Spiraea cinerea cultivar with colored foliage. Upon budding, the leaves have a greenish-yellow hue, becoming persistently golden-yellow after the end of the flowering period. The crown shape is more flattened compared to the original 'Grefsheim' variety. After 10 years of growth, the height of the bush is 100–110 cm, with a width of 140–150 cm.
The flowers are white; the timing and abundance of flowering correspond to the 'Grefsheim' variety. The plant possesses high winter hardiness and resistance to sunscald. The shrub grows well in all types of soil, except for very dry ones. A sunny or slightly shaded location is required for intensive foliage coloration.
