The Crystal Wonder variety belongs to the Gesneriaceae family and is a compact houseplant forming a neat basal rosette up to 25 cm high and up to 27 cm wide. The leaves of the plant are narrow, oblong, dark green in color with pronounced venation.

The flowers are of a rich purple color and have a tubular shape. In the throat of the flower, there is a white color complemented by purple lines. The variety is characterized by profuse and prolonged flowering, which under favorable conditions can last throughout the year.

The plant is intended for cultivation indoors, in greenhouses and winter gardens. The variety requires protection from direct sunlight and drafts; during care, waterlogging of the soil, which can provoke rotting of the base of the leaves, should be avoided.
