Variety description

The plant is a low-growing shrub with dense branching, which is more compact compared to the Hancock variety and has less pronounced drooping shoots. Young shoots are brown-purple in color, which changes to a dark green shade of foliage in summer.
The variety is resistant to adverse urban conditions, including air pollution, and tolerates short-term drought well. The plant is capable of adapting to various types of drained soils and can grow in partial shade conditions.
Due to its ability to create dense ground cover, the shrub effectively suppresses weed growth and is often used for landscaping slopes and public spaces. Small flowers attract bees, and the decorative purple-pink fruits remain on the branches for a long time.
