The plant belongs to the self-heading group, does not require support, and reaches a height of 25–35 cm. The leaves have an arrowhead shape, and their veins are often colored pink or red. Under indoor conditions, it flowers extremely rarely; the flowers have no ornamental value.

The variety is characterized by a rapid growth rate and low maintenance. It is drought-tolerant and shows resistance to high air humidity and certain diseases, including Verticillium wilt. It is used as a potted crop, in terrariums, florariums, and hanging arrangements.
