Variety description

The shrub is characterized by a densely branched form and compact dimensions: the height of an adult plant reaches 1.0–1.3 m, the width — 1.2–1.5 m. The leaves are deciduous, small, 2–5 cm long, ranging from broadly elliptical to ovate, fresh green in color.
The inflorescences are panicles about 10 cm long with narrow-funnel-shaped flowers of a lilac-pink shade, possessing a pleasant aroma. The main flowering lasts about 3 weeks in April–May; the variety is capable of repeat flowering at the end of summer.
The plant possesses winter hardiness down to -23°C...-34°C. Recommended for planting in containers, creating low hedges, and single or group compositions. To maintain the crown shape, pruning after flowering is recommended.
