Variety description

10 August 2026

The line was obtained through ten generations of self-pollination of source material collected from a wild population in Montana. It is a spring-type plant that does not require vernalization and is capable of reaching maturity in 9 weeks.

The primary purpose of the line is its use as a platform for studying genetics, developing genome editing methods, and improving oil composition, including reducing erucic acid levels to obtain high-quality feedstock suitable for use as an oilseed crop.
