The variety has a symmetrical, neat ovoid crown shape. A distinctive feature is the straight, acutely upward-ascending branches, which is most pronounced in young plants.
Leaves open 8–10 days later than in other varieties of the species, and autumn coloring begins 4–5 days earlier. Flowering is late. The tree is characterized by disease resistance, tolerance to calcareous soils and drought, and is well adapted for landscaping in urban conditions.
